TARA Family Heritage Day May 24th Tailors Hall
Tailors Hall, Back Lane, Dublin 8 for Saturday 24th May. (Off Tomas Street, opp MotherRedCaps). 12:00-18:00 and 19:00-00:30
This event hopes to reconnect people to the History, Mythology and beauty of the Tara Valley. Hope it will be a fun day out for the kids aswell. Discussions, forums on the future effects of Environment and Ecology. Up-to-date information presentations, documentaries, discussions on M3 issues, video, photography and speakers. The Tara Family is also the family who loves Tara Valley and cares about its well being!!! We are more than our bling!!!! We should cherish our ancient roots and celebrate it especially on this day.
Open trad session day and evening, to all you musicians. There are still some space for bands to play. The venue is fully disability accessible and there are three rooms and a courtyard which has a marquee on the day.
The day events: Children/Family main audience open 12 to 18:00. E5.00 per person with light refreshments.

Children's entertainment: Face painters, Jugglers, trad musicians, treasure hunt throughout the day. Starting at 12 noon until 6pm.
- Heritage films detailing the Tara valley, history and mythology and recent footage/images in Meeting room indoors.
- Storytelling, poetry reading, crafts, weaving
- Dual-Lingual event as much as possible, information room with projector, presentations with speakers from historical, archaeological, academic background.
- Light refreshments (non-alcoholic) and finger food.
- DJ playing also
Traditional Music Session:19:00 -00:30 Sunday. Entrance E10 (E5 concession with day token)

Hopefully an informative, enjoyable day for everyone. This is not a fundraiser but any money collected at the door will be to cover event costs.
